Davis Karate Academy was originally established as Elers Karate Academy in Manawatu, New Zealand, in 2000, and has been operating as Davis Karate Academy since 2012. Many members have trained in Seito Shito-ryu Karate Do, a traditional style founded by Ryuso Kenwa Mabuni. Davis Karate Academy continues to thrive in Feilding, New Zealand, under the guidance of Sensei Kirk Alexander, while Shihan Miho Davis relocated to Rockhampton, QLD, Australia, where she has been leading Davis Karate Rockhampton since 2020.
